‘THE BIRMINGHAM BIFRÖST’ | 2022 COMMONWEALTH GAMES | BIRMINGHAM

Situated on the underbelly of Smallbrook Queensway this installation draws inspiration from the cosmic rainbow-bridge between Midgard and Asgard in Norse mythology (and more recently depicted in the Marvel Cinematic Universe). The Birmingham Bifröst illuminates the connection between the mundane and the sublime and links Birmingham to the rest of The Nine Realms.

We worked closely with the technical team at James Glancy Designs and utlised 75 x Hera Procolour 60 RGBW with MADRIX Light Control Software and Hardware.
